Pre-Pregnancy Deposit Policy:
- Pre-Pregnancy deposit $500, then the other $300 is due when pups are born
I select four families, 2 male and 2 female, and offer the opportunity to place a Pre-Pregnancy deposits. All deposits are non-refundable unless my mama doesn’t get pregnant when she’s bred.
In order to be considered for one of these pre-pregnancy deposits you must complete the puppy application found on the home page.

After the puppies are born – Those that have placed a $500 Pre-Pregnancy Deposit will be the first group to receive a personal email or phone call once the puppies are born notifying you as to whether I have a puppy available. The next group of people to be contacted after a litter is born is those who have placed a $100 Commitment Deposit. If there are any puppies still available, then I will contact the regular waitlist of those folks who have an approved application, but have not placed a deposit.
I will accept deposits via: Venmo, PayPal, Zelle or regular mail.
Commitment Deposit Policy:
As IGR grows and I receive more and more applications it’s becoming more challenging to sort through and communicate with everyone to determine who is truly committed to getting an IGR pup and who sorta-kinda wants one or is still looking elsewhere.
I’ve decided to implement what I’m calling a Commitment Deposit. $100 – that’s it. Once your application is approved, you will be asked if you want to submit a $100 deposit (that will be applied to the price of your future pup). This deposit indicates you want an IGR pup, you are willing to wait for whichever litter has availability and/or are the parents that you want and/or is the timing you want.
- This Commitment Deposit is non-refundable.
- This Commitment Deposit can be applied to any litter I have availability.
- This Commitment Deposit will be tracked on my spreadsheet.
By placing a Commitment Deposit, you will be in the Commitment Deposit section of my spreadsheet and will be the second group of people I contact when a litter is born (the first group will be the Pre-Pregnancy Deposit folks).
If someone ever backs out from getting a pup, or a pup is returned I will contact those on the Commitment Deposit list before the folks on the Regular Waitlist (see below for info on “Regular Waitlist”)
Once a Commitment Deposit is placed, I cannot guarantee any particular litter because I never know how many pups a mama will have. If there’s a situation where I’m not ready to accept the Pre-Pregnancy deposit (typically because a mama is too young and hasn’t passed her health clearances quite yet), those on the Commitment Deposit list will be the ones contacted first when it’s time to place those ‘pre-pregnancy’ deposits. If you choose not to place a “Commitment Deposit” that’s totally fine, you’ll still be on my wait list, but you’ll be the last group I contact to say “I have a puppy available”.
Regular Waitlist
This section is of my spreadsheet is for those who have applied and been approved for an IGR pup but have chosen not to place a deposit of any sort. Neither Pre-Pregnancy or Commitment Deposit. When I have a litter born, this is the last group of people I reach out to regarding the having a puppy available.
